Terms of Service

Rules for using grokpot — the community console for custom Grok skills, hosted single-page apps, and connected Discord/X accounts.

1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website, applications, APIs, and related services operated at grokpot.io (collectively, "grokpot," "we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using grokpot, creating an account, connecting a third-party identity (such as X or Discord), submitting content, or participating in our Discord community features, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use grokpot.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.

2. Description of the Service

grokpot is a community platform for developers and creators who use Grok (the AI assistant developed by the former xAI company and, following corporate restructuring in 2026, operated as part of SpaceX through its SpaceXAI division). The service allows you to:

  • Publish, discover, and interact with custom skills (prompts, definitions, and related metadata for Grok);
  • Upload and share single-page applications ("SPAs") that others can preview in the browser;
  • Comment, upvote, report, and moderate community content;
  • Connect optional X (formerly Twitter) and Discord accounts for sign-in and profile features;
  • Participate in an optional Discord bot experience linked to the site, including community XP/leveling where enabled.

grokpot is built and maintained by members of the Grok user community. It is an independent community catalog and tooling site; we do not speak for or on behalf of SpaceX, SpaceXAI, xAI, X Corp., Discord, or any other third party.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by:

  • Space Exploration Technologies Corp. (SpaceX) or its SpaceXAI artificial-intelligence division. In February 2026, SpaceX acquired the former standalone company xAI (developer of Grok). In May 2026, Elon Musk announced that xAI would be dissolved as a separate company and integrated into SpaceX as the SpaceXAI division. In these Terms, references to xAI mean that former company or successor AI services operated by SpaceX/SpaceXAI (including API endpoints that may still use xAI branding, such as x.ai).
  • X Corp., operator of the X social platform at x.com (formerly Twitter). X Corp. is a separate legal entity from xAI/SpaceXAI even though related businesses have been consolidated under Musk-affiliated corporate structures.
  • Discord Inc.
  • Any cryptocurrency, token, or blockchain project

unless we expressly state otherwise in writing.

Grok, xAI, SpaceX, SpaceXAI, X, and related names and logos are trademarks and services of their respective owners.

Throughout these Terms, references to X, X Corp., or the X platform mean the social service operated at x.com that was previously branded as Twitter. Any historical mention of "Twitter" refers to that same platform under its former name.

3. Independence, Community Operation, and No Commercial Activity

grokpot is operated for the benefit of the Grok community. We do not ask for or accept donations, tips, or crowdfunding contributions through the service.

We do not offer goods or services for sale on grokpot, and we are not trying to sell you anything. The site is provided as a community resource without a storefront or paid membership tier operated by us.

grokpot has no cryptocurrency affiliations. We do not issue, endorse, promote, or operate a coin, token, NFT, or other digital asset. Any third-party token or project claiming association with grokpot is unauthorized unless we say otherwise in writing.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use grokpot. If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the service only with permission of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf.

You must have the legal capacity to enter a binding agreement and must not be barred from using the service under applicable law. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of grokpot complies with the terms of any third-party platform you connect (including X and Discord).

5. Accounts, Authentication, and Security

You may sign in using supported authentication methods, including OAuth through X (formerly Twitter) or Discord, or other methods we make available. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to provide accurate profile information, not impersonate others, and not share credentials or session access with unauthorized parties. Notify us promptly at webmaster@grokpot.io if you believe your account has been compromised.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, pose security risks, or are required to be restricted by law or by our third-party providers.

6. User Content, Your Responsibility, and License

"User Content" means any material you submit to grokpot, including skills, SPAs, comments, images, profile information, feedback, and metadata.

You retain ownership of your User Content. You are solely responsible for the data you submit, store, or share through grokpot—including skills, SPAs, comments, images, profile fields, and anything you connect via OAuth or the Grok connector. You decide what to publish and must ensure it is appropriate, lawful, and backed up if you need your own copy.

By submitting User Content, you grant grokpot a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, and adapt your User Content solely as needed to operate and secure the service (including moderation, security scanning, and transient technical copies during operation). This license does not permit us to use your content to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

You represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have the necessary rights to submit the User Content;
  • Your User Content does not infringe intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any person;
  • Your SPAs and skills do not contain malware, unauthorized data collection, or deceptive behavior;
  • You will comply with applicable laws and platform rules when publishing content intended for use with Grok, X, or Discord.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Upload or distribute illegal content, malware, exploits, or material that facilitates harm, fraud, or harassment;
  • Post content that is defamatory, hateful, sexually exploitative of minors, or that promotes violence or illegal activity;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to grokpot, other users' accounts, or our infrastructure;
  • Scrape, crawl, or reverse engineer the service except as permitted by law;
  • Circumvent rate limits, security scans, moderation, or access controls;
  • Use grokpot to send spam, manipulate votes or rankings, or operate bots without authorization;
  • Misrepresent your affiliation with SpaceX, SpaceXAI, xAI, X Corp., Discord, or grokpot;
  • Use the service in any manner that violates X Developer Policy, Discord Terms, or applicable Grok/xAI/SpaceXAI provider policies when interacting with those services through grokpot.

8. AI, Security Scanning, and Generated Content

grokpot may send user-submitted text or code to third-party AI providers—including the xAI API and successor services operated by SpaceX / SpaceXAI following xAI's acquisition and restructuring—for features such as automated security review, image generation, semantic tagging, or Discord bot responses. Those providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies, not ours. We use such processing only to deliver the feature you request.

We do not use your User Content or personal data to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models, and we do not sell or license your data for model training.

AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. You use AI-powered features at your own risk.

Security scans and moderation tools are assistive only. They do not guarantee that content is safe, lawful, or free of vulnerabilities. You remain solely responsible for reviewing anything you publish or execute.

9. Discord Bot and Community Features

If you join a Discord server where the grokpot bot is present, messages you send in configured channels may be ingested, stored, tagged, and used for community features (such as XP, moderation logs, or admin dashboards) as described in our Privacy Policy. By participating, you acknowledge this processing.

Server administrators and grokpot operators may configure channels, commands, and moderation rules. We may remove messages, restrict users, or disable bot features at any time.

10. Moderation, Enforcement, and Staff Access

We reserve the right—but not the obligation—to review, remove, restrict, or disable any User Content or account at our discretion, including for violations of these Terms, reports from users, or requirements from law enforcement or platform partners.

Banned accounts. If your account is banned, you may not access grokpot (including the website, APIs, and Grok connector). You may still use available account tools to delete your data and/or delete your account while banned, but you cannot otherwise use the service until a ban is lifted, if ever.

Timed-out accounts. If your account is subject to a timeout or similar restriction, you may not upload new content (including skills, packages, SPAs, and images) or use the Grok connector to upload or publish through grokpot until the timeout ends or staff restore your access.

Moderator and administrator access. Staff with assigned permissions may view non-public or private account and content data only as needed for security, moderation, and operating the service—including to re-activate or restore access, deactivate or restrict accounts, handle reports, or delete content or accounts. Staff must not use private data for unrelated purposes.

Appeals may be submitted to webmaster@grokpot.io; we will consider them in good faith but are not obligated to restore content or access.

11. Third-Party Services and Links

grokpot integrates with or links to third-party services, including Grok-related APIs operated by xAI and/or SpaceX / SpaceXAI, the X platform (formerly Twitter), Discord, and content delivery networks. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, SPAs hosted by users, or external links you choose to visit.

User-hosted SPAs run in your browser at your direction. grokpot does not control and is not liable for code authored by other users. Exercise caution before executing or sharing untrusted applications.

12. Intellectual Property

The grokpot name, branding, site design, and original software are owned by the operators of grokpot or their licensors. Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms, no license is granted to our intellectual property.

If you believe content on grokpot infringes your copyright, send a notice to webmaster@grokpot.io including identification of the work, the infringing material, your contact information, and a statement of good-faith belief. We may remove or disable access to allegedly infringing material.

13. Disclaimers

grokpot is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that User Content or AI-generated outputs will be accurate or safe.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, grokpot and its operators, contributors, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the service shall not exceed the greater of USD $100 or the amount you paid us (if any) in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

15. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless grokpot and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your User Content, your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights or policies.

16. Termination and Deletion

You may stop using grokpot at any time and may delete your account or specific content through features we provide or by contacting webmaster@grokpot.io.

When you delete content or your account, we do not store or preserve that deleted data for ongoing use. Deletion is intended to be permanent on our systems, subject only to brief technical remnants that may exist during routine maintenance and are not retained for recovery or reuse.

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Banned users remain subject to the access limits in Section 10.

Upon termination, provisions that by their nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute provisions) will survive.

17. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State in which the operator of grokpot is principally located, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or the service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in that jurisdiction, unless applicable law requires otherwise. You waive any objection to venue in those courts.
