SYNCED SUMMARY (from SKILL.md)
# Cash Plan

Money in, money named, surplus protected. Advice and worksheets only.

Inspired by kusandriadi/finance budgeting-cashflow (MIT). Original Grok remake. Not personalized financial advice and not a brokerage connector.

Read `references/rails.md` before you write numbers. Fill the three templates.

## When to use
- Budget, cashflow, spending plan, 50/30/20, zero-based
- Emergency fund sizing, sinking funds, debt avalanche or snowball
- "where does my money go" / fix lifestyle creep

## When NOT to use
- Place trades, connect bank/broker APIs, Plaid, Alpaca, or any credential pack
- Tax filing, legal structure, or licensed planner work they asked a pro for
- Crypto leverage, forex bots, or "guaranteed return" schemes

## Inputs
- Take-home pay (monthly) and currency
- Fixed bills, known debts (balance + APR if known)
- Goals: emergency months, debt payoff, or save rate
- Country context if it changes defaults (optional)

## Procedure
1. Read `references/rails.md`. If they ask for trade execution or bank login help, refuse and stay on the worksheet.
2. Lock take-home for one month. Do not invent income.
3. Pick a frame: 50/30/20 for a first pass, or zero-based if they leak money.
4. Name every dollar: needs, wants, save/invest/extra debt. Surplus must be assigned.
5. Size emergency cash from `references/rails.md` (months of needs, not wants).
6. List non-monthly sinks (tax, insurance, travel, gifts) as sinking funds.
7. Order debts: avalanche by APR unless they need snowball for motivation. Say which you picked and why.
8. Fill `templates/cash-plan.md`, `templates/month-log.md`, and `templates/debt-order.md`.
9. One review rule: change one variable next month, not five.

## Output format
- Filled cash-plan, month-log, debt-order
- One line: educational only, not personalized financial advice
- No API keys, account numbers, or "paste your bank password"

## Safety
- Follow `references/rails.md` with no exceptions.
- No brokerage, no bank scraping, no secrets.
- No promise of returns. No pressure to invest before high-interest debt is handled.

## Stop conditions
- Plan + log delivered, or refused because they need a licensed advisor / tax pro
